Of course, the truth is any of these “free” ways of donating is just as much a PR stunt for the company. But remember that the most important thing is for you to donate directly to the cause. In the case of Toys for Tots, that means donating a brand new unwrapped toy at a toy drop-off, or donating directly to them. That way, you’ll be sure that this Christmas, children who live in poverty who otherwise would have nothing under their tree can be thrilled with a brand new toy.
