Charity SEO Services
Professional enough for Fortune 50 companies, Cheap enough for charities

I started this blog several years ago. To make a very long story very short, I am an expert in Web design and search engines, having brought success to some of the biggest names in corporate America. But as time went on, I just got a little tired of life in corporate America. I achieved a very high position and ended up with a very high salary, but there was just something very much missing from my life. I felt there was much more than life than playing the political game, trying to get ahead, and thinking about money, money, money all the time.

One of the things I did back then was to start this blog in my “spare time”. My goal in starting this blog was just to do my little part to help and to bring a little attention to some needy causes out there.

Chances are you’ve come across this blog through a search engine like Google or Bing. I’ve been fortunate enough to know how to build Web sites that get a fair amount of attention by search engines. And having seen a lot of charity Web sites out there that aren’t faring too well in search engines, I realize there’s a need out there for good charity SEO.

Having been in corporate America, I know how advertising agencies and SEO firms can ask you for ridiculous amounts of money for their work. After all, they need to pay for not just the work they do, but for overhead of maintaining many different departments, a marketing budget, and so on. Case in point: an SEO audit I recently did for one of my current company’s clients which cost me $5000 to put together ended up being sold to the client for three times that amount (!)

And so, I figured I’d write this post to see if any charity and non-profit sites out there can use any help with SEO and Web Design. I’m not a not-for-profit organization myself (at least not yet), but what I can assure you is that I would be charging a lot less for my work than someone else of my caliber of experience and expertise, as I have the expertise but not the overhead. I can share with you my list of previous clients and previous work I’ve done, personal and professional if you’re interested (hint: among them were a flower company, a telecommunications company, and a financial services company).

Here are some of the services I can provide:

  • Web site SEO audits: If you already have a working Web site and a full Web development staff, this is the choice for you. I will go through your entire site and tell you exactly what you need to do to make the site successful in organic search engines. I can also travel to your location and provide you and your team training so they can carry on the SEO work themselves and not be dependent on an SEO company.
  • Web site redesign. Depending on the complexity of your Web site, I may be able to redesign it in a way that’s both appealing to customers and potential donors, as well as optimized for search engines from the ground-up.
  • Web site add-ons. If you need to build a blog, a discussion forum, a Facebook page, a Twitter account AND figure out how they can most help your cause AND help your main Web site with SEO, I can help you with that.

Like I said, since I don’t have an overhead (this Web page is my only “advertising expense”), so I’m pretty confident I can charge you prices less than what traditional ad agencies or even local ad agencies will charge for the same work. So please drop me a line at steve@charitablegiftgiving.com or call me at (516) 234-5487 if you’re interested.

Unfortunately, because my time is limited, I need to be very selective of the work I take on, and I can only take on registered 501(c)(3) organizations at this time. So if I don’t get back to you right away, please don’t take offense.

Thanks for reading, and good luck with your cause!
