Two of the greatest joys in the world are Southern Gospel Music and Southern Cooking. The Southern Gospel Music Cookbook: Favorite Recipes from More Than 100 Gospel Music Performers combines both of them.

The book contains a brief history of Southern Gospel Music, and then goes right into the recipes for appetizers, drinks, soups, salads, breads, entrees, side dishes, breakfasts, and of course desserts. Each recipe is from a familiar name in the Southern Gospel community, from Alfred Brumley to Anthony Burger to The Cathedrals to the Gaithers to a hundred others.
