The Walt Disney Pavillion at the Florida Hospital for Children is a wonderful place for kids who are going through less-than-wonderful things in their lives. It’s a top children’s hospital staffed with pediatric specialists, and because one of its sponsors is Disney, the good folks at Disney have worked their magic to turn the otherwise scary experience of visiting the hospital to one where the child can feel at ease in a healing environment.
By donating to the Florida Hospital to Children, you can help this great organization, as well as get some great gifts for yourself, not the least of which are one-day park passes to Walt Disney World and benefits at other Orlando-area places such as Planet Hollywood and Sammy Duvall’s Watersports Centre. You should be aware that these tickets have restrictions (you can’t upgrade them, and they have expiration dates), but overall you’re getting a great deal and more importantly, helping a great cause.
